When you open the site

The site is delivered by Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). With every request Cloudflare processes, as our processor, the data that delivery technically requires: IP address, time, requested address, browser identifier and referring page. Purpose: to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — the legitimate interest in a secure, reachable website. The site owner does not evaluate these logs; Cloudflare deletes them according to its own retention periods.

Cloudflare is based in the USA and certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; the transfer rests on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). The data processing agreement is part of Cloudflare’s terms of service.

Stored in your browser

No cookies. When you move between the chapters, the site notes in the session storage of your browser (sessionStorage, entry “bulinsky-film-2”) where you were, so that “back” takes you there again. The entry never leaves your browser, says nothing about you and disappears when you close the tab. It is strictly necessary for this function (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG); no consent is required.

Fonts and recordings

The two typefaces and all recordings are served from this site itself. No request goes to Google or any other third party, neither on loading nor during playback.

Links to other sites

Facebook, Instagram, Operabase, the theatres and the agencies are plain links. Nothing is loaded from them before you click — not even a preview image. With the click you leave this site; the privacy policy of the destination then applies. The videos play on this site after a click: only then is the YouTube player loaded from youtube-nocookie.com, and the privacy policy of Google applies. Before the click, nothing is loaded from YouTube.

E-mail

If you write to the address above, your message, your address and what you tell me are processed in order to answer — under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about engagements, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f). The mailbox is hosted by Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) as processor. Messages are kept for as long as the conversation requires or statutory retention periods demand.

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21). An e-mail to the address above is enough.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
